Stan’s
Outdoor was started in the fall of 2001 in Columbus,
Mississippi. This came about out of a love for the great
outdoors, and especially hunting and fishing. We come
from a background in the farming business, and grew up
in the woods and fields. Hunting and fishing was a way
of life for us out on the farm, which put food on the
table. We developed a love for God’s awesome outdoor
theater and wanted to find a way to pass on our
knowledge and love of nature to others. So, Stan’s
Outdoor was born with humble beginnings.
We here at Stan’s Outdoor are dedicated to the
everyday hunters and fishermen. These are the
sportspeople who hunt just for the pure love and
enjoyment of it. Then, when the season is over, they
look forward and plan for the next season, while
remembering their past successes or failures during the
hunting or fishing seasons.
Over
the past 3 years, our business has grown, and we have
been able to increase the quality and quantity of our
inventory. We have recently put in an archery pro shop,
which offers full service to the archers in our area. We
are now able to laser tune and chronograph bows, replace
and reserve strings, and cut and fletch arrows. Stan’s
outdoor also provides full service and repair on your
hunting vehicles. We have a recently added an ATV
maintenance and repair shop, which is staffed by our
partner, who is a certified mechanic.
